Introduction for using SMT Mechanical assembly components
Introduction for using SMT Mechanical assembly components
To standardize the SMT order placement process and ensure the correct use of mechanical assembly components, the following explanations are provided regarding the usage instructions for SMT Mechanical assembly components:
1. Definition and Interface Display of Mechanical assembly components
“SMT Mechanical assembly components” in this document refers to components that require secondary processing (e.g., hardware fittings, cables, heat sinks, etc.). These components are currently not suitable for system matching and require manual handling.
In the SMT component matching interface and the SMT component search interface, such components requiring secondary processing will be clearly labeled as "Mechanical assembly components," as shown in the figure below. This serves as a reminder to help you identify that the selected component is one that requires secondary processing.
2. SMT Order Placement Notes
If your SMT order includes components marked as "Mechanical assembly components," the following procedures must be strictly followed to ensure product quality:
1). When placing an SMT order, under "PCBA remark" in the Advanced Options, you must select [PCBA remark] to [Yes]. Selecting this option indicates that your order includes components requiring secondary processing.
2). In the [PCBA remark] pop-up window, provide a detailed description of your processing needs, including but not limited to: Processing method, Key parameters, Expected outcome. (For complex procedures, you may provide detailed work instructions or an SOP.)
Note: Processing remarks must be clear and accurate to avoid errors or delays caused by insufficient information.
Please ensure compliance with the above guidelines to facilitate smooth processing and production.
