Functions and Benefits

FCT (Functional Circuit Test) performs a power-on functional verification on assembled PCBAs. Based on the test procedure provided by the customer, specific board functions are validated to confirm proper operation.

This service helps identify potential functional issues in advance and improves the performance and reliability of the finished product.

Pricing

• Engineering fee: approximately USD 16
• Operator labor fee: approximately USD 8/hour

The actual labor hours required will be evaluated based on the order details and testing requirements.

How to Select "Functional Test" Service When Placing an Order

Notes

1. Customers must provide product photos or DFM drawings, along with detailed test procedure instructions, for evaluation by JLCPCB engineers. A demonstration video showing the testing process is preferred.
2. After the first board has been tested, a video will typically be provided to confirm that the testing process has been completed successfully. The customer must review and confirm the result promptly via email to avoid production delays.
3. If test fixtures are required, JLCPCB may support certain types of test fixtures. Availability will be evaluated based on the specific testing requirements.
