We are a French robotic club whose goal is to take part in the French robotic cup each year. The goal of the competition is to develop two autonomous robots that will score as many points as possible. In order to improve our performance, we design new PCBs each year. For example, last year we designed an electronic board that is aimed to be plugged on a Raspberry Pi to power it with a battery. This PCB also includes other features such as LED, switches, buzzer, Oled display, …
We have also designed and ordered a PCB to control our robot remotely. This board embedded an X-bee module that converts the commands sent by a PS3 Controller.
Finally, we ordered small PCBs for the obstacle detection system of our new robot.Share your experience with JLCPCB
Thanks to the support of JLCPCB we were able to use professional quality PCBs. This helped us a lot improving our performance. The fast delivery helped us finish the project before deadlines. Besides, the CMS assembly service saved us a lot of time.
Something you want to say to other students who may need free PCB:
It's definitely a great opportunity to be supported by JLCPCB. It allows us to step up the quality of our PCB and designs. All our members learned a lot about electronic boards during this project.
Our robotic club uses JLCPCB for a few years and we are really happy about it. Our student club builds each year two autonomous robots in order to take part in the French robotic cup. The JLC website interface is really easy to handle and we always had a fast delivery which is very important for our project. We always received good quality PCB matching perfectly what we had designed. We use the CMS assembly service too which saved us a lot of time. Since last year, JLCPCB supports our club by sending us free PCBs this helped us a lot.
