Pre-Ordering Parts Terms & Conditions

JLCPCB provides a pre-order parts service to help you stock the parts inventory for your PCB assembly orders. The following are the terms and conditions of agreement ("Terms and Conditions") for the pre-order parts service by JLCPCB to JLCPCB's customers.


1. JLCPCB will help customers store the parts they pre-ordered, the parts are only used for assembly service, there is no inventory cost when using those parts for assembly orders.


Please note in principle pre-order parts are not available for pickup. Inventory cost and pickup service fee will be charged if pickup is insisted on.

2. Inventory loss equals 0.03% of minimum package each year.


3. Parts may be purchased in different batches. JLCPCB cannot guarantee that the same part will be all in the same batch.


4. Please accept the minimum required quantity and attrition quantity when using those parts for assembly orders.


5. In-stock items cannot be canceled once it has been paid. Pre-order items cannot be canceled once the quotation is finished.


6. Only when the pre-order parts arrive in the JLCPCB warehouse, you can use them for PCB assembly orders. Currently, global sourcing parts & consigned parts are not supported to be combined with pre-order parts for PCBA order.


Parts pre-ordered from Global Sourcing can only be chosen together with the parts consigned by the customer when making a PCBA order.


Parts pre-ordered from JLCPCB can only be used together with JLCPCB's publicly existing stock and cannot be used together with global sourcing parts or consignment parts.


7. If in customer's own stock, there are some compoments that are not needed anymore for customer's future order, we are sorry that refunds does not supported, customer are sincerely suggested to evaluate their project planning before parts ordering.


8. About the Lead Time of Pre-ordered Parts


Since the inventory and price of parts are changing all the time, in order to take the parts ASAP and avoid delays, if the lead time is within 20 working days after confirming with the parts supplier, we will directly continue purchasing. If it is more than 20 working days, we will email customers for further confirmation. To avoid delays, we suggest customers check the mailbox regularly after placing the orders for timely confirmation.


9. If customers purchase several kinds of parts together, it is possible that some parts cannot be purchased for some reason, in which case we will refund the cost of the parts that we fail to purchase to the customers, while the other parts successfully purchased will not be cancelled or refunded.


10. About the price difference of Pre-order Parts


The estimated price is just for reference. This price was determined by JLC purchasing department based on a large amount of data evaluation. The estimated price won't be changed in real time (as component prices are very unstable and we cannot always adjust it). After you pay in advance, if the final price quoted is higher than the advance payment, we will send you a supplement link. Meanwhile, if the final quote is lower than the advanced payment, we will refund the price difference.


11. About the difference between actual quantity and order

Due to inventory shortage issue, sometimes the actual quantity will less than the ordered, JLCPCB is also very sorry for the occurrence of such problems.

If the difference between the actual quantity received and the ordered by the customer is less than 3pcs, we have to default to refunding the missing parts,hope this won't cause inconveneince.

At the same time, we recommend that customers order more quantities to avoid this problem. For components that cannot be used up, JLCPCB supports free storage without storage fees charged as we always do.
