How to remove order number from your PCB?

To ensure easy identification and prevent mixing up your PCB with others, JLCPCB will assign your order number to your PCB. This number may be located under an IC, and may be hidden once the PCB is soldered.

If you wish to remove the order number, you can select the option below. Please note that a service fee of $1.52 will apply.

There is another option that you can specify a location of the order number and it is free of charge.

To indicate the location, simply add the text "JLCJLCJLCJLC" to the silk layer and select the "Specify a location" option when placing your order. Please note that if this option is not chosen, we may not notice that you have added the text.

Note: Use only "JLCJLCJLCJLC" without any additional characters. The font size should be larger than 0.8mm in height and 0.15mm in width.

Tips:

If you select the "Panel by JLCPCB" option when placing your order, the order number will be added to the tooling strip by default. In this case, there will be no serial number on your product PCB.
