Consignment Parts Terms & Conditions

1. For same parts, when placing PCBA orders, consign parts can only be used together with global sourcing parts, instead of JLCPCB parts.

For same JLCPCB part number, parts pre-ordered from Global Sourcing can only be chosen together with the parts consigned by the customer when making a PCBA order.

Parts pre-ordered from JLCPCB can only be used together with JLCPCB's publicly existing stock and cannot be used together with global sourcing parts or consignment parts.

2. We do not accept loose parts tapped to reels or bags, or damaged parts (eg these will not count towards required quantities)

3. Each item should have an additional quantity of components for attrition or minimum assembly requirement during assembly. JLCPCB cannot guarantee all of your order will be built if there is no sufficient quantity.

4. Batteries, ultracapacitors, materials from ECCN catalogue and non-machinable materials will not be processed and will be returned to customers or discarded by default.

5. Materials must be within their expiration dates throughout time of manufacturing.

6. JLCPCB is not responsible for any loss and damage of components during the shipment.

7. Components shall be returned to the sending address as they are not claimed for over 7days. Only SF is available in returning them and the receiver shall pay the shipment.

8. There is no inventory cost for consigned parts, but if you need to pick up those consigned parts. Inventory cost and pickup service fee will be charged. At the same time, if same components exists on global sourcing part , they need to be picked up together.

9. Since the consigned components come from customers and we are only responsible for the assembly service, the cost of consigned components themselves will not be shown in invoices. Only the cost of assembly service for these components will be shown in the invoices.

10. Consigned components will not be tested regarding quality or function before or after PCBA production. JLCPCB is not responsible for any inevitable PCBA quality issues due to the quality problems of consigned components.

11. JLCPCB will return the parts that could't pass checking after shipping to us if requested. We suggest transportation insurance for important parts whatever returning or consign part to us . JLCPCB is not responsible for the parcel lost or damage during returning and consigning.

12. Since there is no purchase record with JLCPCB, if the actual component quantity is inconsistent with the ordered as customer applied for , JLCPCB will directly stock according to the actual quantity received. Customer can check parts manger to check the inventory changes record through jlcpcb.com.

Additional Charges

1. How do we charge for separated components/loose and bulk compoments?

Separate components/loose and bulk components are those that are not on tape/reel and may be individual.  These components in loose pieces cannot be loaded onto the P&P (Pick and  Place) machines for assembly directly, which requires manual operation before the process. Please note that an extra fee will be charged for orders involving these components.

Manual service fee: usd$0.017/pin, for components with more than 10pins, the maximum manual service fee for one component is usd$0.17.

By the way, if the component is large and difficult to process, the separate component fee will be USD$0.142/pcs and

If the part comes with extra accessories, such as washer and nut, and they need to be assembled as a combination, the manual service fee will be USD0.071/pcs.

2. About baking compoments

To help avoid possible deformation and false soldering, for instance, moisture-sensitive LEDs, Modules ect. we will suggest customer to bake the parts around 48hours after parts arrival on our warehouse.

Baking fee: usd$8 for 48hours,  there will be an additional charge of usd$0.017/pcs if quantity between 500pcs and 20000pcs.

3. About additional charge for oversea consigned parts

The service cost will be 70USD/50 items if more than 50 kinds of compoment according to Custom process. For example, 70 USD for 51 part numbers. 140 USD for 101 part numbers.

By the way, all taxes and duties should be borne by the customer in Customs clearance for consigned compoment.
