PCB Design Tips:


All machining operations have finite errors, and milling in PCB production is no exception. JLCPCB’s regular milling tolerance is ±0.2 mm, with a precision ±0.1 mm option available. Due to these errors, it’s necessary to leave at least a 0.3 mm safety margin between any copper and a milled edge. Insufficient clearance can lead to damaged traces and pads, resulting in defective boards.
