Technical Guide: Making Solder Overflow Slots

When PCBs undergo machine assembly of components (such as wave soldering), to prevent the solder pads of components that require secondary soldering from being blocked, a solder overflow slot is needed on the PCB pads. This allows the solder to flow away during wave soldering.
